Entertainer DJ Bonez in a session with former Kiss FM presenter Oga Obinna has revealed the one thing he dislikes about his wife.
According to Bonez, Kamene's smoking habit is something he truly struggles with as a non-smoker and someone who detests smoking.
The revelation came about after Obinna opened up about his dislike for ladies who smoke. The comedian voiced he'd never date a girl who smokes leave alone marrying one.
Obinna highlighted he's had to end a budding relationship in the past once he found out the girl was a smoker.
“I met somebody. She is full spec, the type of shortie I like, and everything is nice. Later I realized she is a smoker, Dem anasmoke sio wife material,” Obinna said
DJ Bonez on his part agreed with the podcast host admitting that he also found females who smoke cigarettes off-putting. Following that he revealed that he was struggling to adjust to his wife’s smoking habit.
“To be honest, this is a struggle and a fight for me. I didn’t like women who smoke cigarettes. Smoke anything else, but not sigara,” DJ Bonez lamented.
Kamene who was present during the recording admitted that she knew her husband dislikes her smoking while highlighting that since tying the knot, she has been trying to work hard reduce her smoking habit.
The media personality maintained she has also picked better habits to help her husband feel less uncomfortable while she is smoking.
"Bonez struggles with my habit of smoking cigarettes. I won't lie, I smoke, but I have significantly come down since I met him. Nowadays I don't smoke unless am stressed, you've pissed me off or am at a party.
Even here in the house, it is very difficult. My hubby buys me cigarettes and lighters, but he hates when I smoke," she added.
Kamene said before marriage, she would smoke in the sitting room, but nowadays, she does it outside, on the balcony.
She opined that whether one uses or doesn't use certain substances, is not a criterion for choosing a partner who would stay in marriage highlighting the whole ideology behind 'wife material' was wrong.
Finishing up she called upon people to stop judging women based on archaic societal norms.
