Angry Kenyans are calling out American rapper Fabolous following his backhanded comment about the continent.
The ‘You be killin em’ rapper who is currently in the country, took to Instagram to reply to a comment made under his recent post asking why the images were of low quality.
To which he replied, that it must be the internet connection as he was in Africa. This distateful comment caused Kenyans on the internet to descend on his page, calling him out for alluding that the Africa didn’t have good Wi-Fi and being disrespectful .
Some went on to take jabs at his career and celebrity saying they didn’t know him or his music. Adding that this comment might bring his downfall owing to cancel culture.
The rapper who is yet to post any images of his time in Kenya on his feed nor make a statement following the backlash performed an hour long set last night (09.08.2023) at the Sk8city indoor skating rink at Diamond Plaza in celebration of 50 years of Hip-Hop.
The New York native is expected to make two more appearances during his time in the city.
