Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease(Mad cow disease ), or vCJD, is a very rare, fatal disease that can infect a person for many years before making them sick by destroying brain cells. Eating contaminated beef and beef products with the infectious agent of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) is the main cause of vCJD.
It is the most fatal disease with 100% death rates with infaction , patient die after ~ 13 months of symptoms. There is no treatment available for vCJD.
